I’ve got news for you - it’s me!
I’m a fairly creative writer, (to say the least) and a more than average entertainment-liker. So, for the sake of authenticity, the inspiration for your ceremony (content to delivery) comes straight from your glorious minds. With a bit (a lot) of Salt and Pepper added by mine. I don’t take myself too seriously, I’m pretty clumsy (you’ve been warned) and quite fond of a good vibe. If you’ve got one, there’s a good chance i’d like to be friends.
Rhysie and I got married recently -
and it reminded me of all the incredible ways that connections and stories intertwine.
When I write a ceremony, i’m doing my absolute best to tell a tale that’s equal parts two different characters and overall, accurately express what happens when they come together. Maybe it’s fireworks and all consuming. Maybe it’s as simple as two people finally finding a place they fit or a partner who makes them feel at home. What matters is that it’s true and that it feels like you.
The ceremony, in my opinion, is the mood setter of the entire wedding day. It’s a chance to take everyone you love through every emotion they have. It’s an experience that encourages strangers to connect and an opportunity for old friends to feel familiar again.
It’s also casual and lighthearted enough, hilarious and sincere enough that guests feel like they’re kicking back and watching their favourite movie. Only they know the stars of the show. And your story is also, in a way, also theirs.
When your crowd connects, the energy lifts and the flow of your day becomes unbelievably easy. I feel so honoured to be a part of that.
My priority,
above all else,
is to tell a tale that

This means I don’t repeat boring facts (snooze).
I engage your guests with cheek and charm and real life stuff they can *actually* relate to. Whether it’s you and two witnesses, twenty of your nearest and dearest or 250 legends looking on, there’s always absurd enthusiasm (how long has she been friends with them?), unreal character representation (omg that’s so him!), relatable lol’s (belly brewed hahas) and real life romance (ooh ahhs).
It’s a bit of a rollercoaster, to be honest, because most relationships are. But, if your Ceremony is delivered properly, you’ll stumble out of it feeling alive, satisfied and wishing you could ride the damn thing one more time.
Any experience with me comes with a cheeky grin, cruisey attitude, lots of laughs and a genuine interest in cultivating a connection. I’m there to pump you up, calm you down and soothe your sweet little souls leading into and the entire way through your wedding.
I love what I do and I dare say that much will be obvious.
