Rhys and Loz were an absolute dream to work with. I thought I’d be a chill bride, but their calm energy and professionalism on the day made all the difference.

They were so kind, helpful, and totally in sync with the vibe we wanted. Not to mention the details... Rhys and Loz really captured every little thing without me having to give direction. It was like magic.

As someone who’s super passionate about photography, choosing the right team was a big deal—and Hungry Hearts was the best decision. We went all in with a full-day package, second shooter (the amazing, and talented Loz!), and film (THE COOLEST PHOTOS). No regrets. Just stunning, heartfelt photos we’re completely obsessed with.

From the moment I came across Hungry Hearts Co, I just knew I had to have them capture our day. Rhys’ photography portfolio was beyond stunning, with the perfect blend of attention to detail and beautiful candid shots. I had been a long-time follower and couldn’t wait to reach out as soon as Aaron and I were engaged!

Rhys and Loz were simply incredible from our first conversation all the way through to our wedding day. Rhys was so wonderful in the lead-up, no question was too much and the level of communication was just perfect for putting a type-A bride at ease.

Fast forward to our wedding day, we were lucky enough to have the fantastic, gorgeous Loz join us as a second shooter… and WHAT A VIBE this pair are! I’m talking laid-back, incredibly positive sunshine with a sprinkle of great humour and endless compliments. Aaron and I absolutely adored having this dynamic duo as part of our day, they made us feel like superstars while also quietly capturing all the special moments of our day (without it feeling like a big photo shoot - Aaron’s worst nightmare).

We recently received our full album back and we just can’t believe how incredible it looks from the eyes of Rhys and Loz. Every image is nothing short of breathtaking! This album is something we will treasure with our families for decades to come and we will forever be grateful for Hungry Hearts Co and the memories they have been able to freeze in time for us. Choosing our favourite photos for a printed album is going to be an impossible task, and I think that says all I need to say for how obsessed we are with each and every shot!

Rhys is cool, calm and oh so good at his job. Our wedding photos exceeded our expectations and everyone who has seen them has felt the same. The mix of natural and black & whites, impeccable composition and joy we had shooting with Rhys (and Loz as his second shooter) was the absolute best. We cannot fault Rhys’s approach and delivery, and neither will you. Booking Rhys is a no brainer.

We were lucky enough to have Rhys as our photographer and his talent is just beyond. We were blown away with the photographs he captured of us. Beyond anything we could have hoped for, I’m not exaggerating when I say it brought tears to our eyes. Nothing posed, just pure and honest captures of the day.

Rhys was so efficient that we popped away to capture some photos and were back with our guests before we knew it, which meant more time to enjoy the party. His cool, calm and relaxed energy meant that we had the most fun, we felt completely comfortable and we could put full trust in him to work his magic without the tiniest speck of doubt.

I’m not sure about much in life, but if there’s one thing I am absolutely positive of, it’s that having Rhys capture the memories of your wedding day, is the best decision you’ll ever make.

Rhys is a bloody legend through and through. Not one awkward pose was forced, he captured us completely as we were. His calming energy and cool demeanour left even the most awkward behind the camera (Jay) feeling comfortable and relaxed. He was so efficient, which allowed more time for us to spend with guests and sip on cocktails (incredibly important). Within a day we had already received some of our shots. The speed of delivery was not the only that blew our mind, but also how incredible the photos were!

We’ve been told by quite a few people that the photos were some of the best they’d seen, and although I’m sure my husband Jay would claim that that’s due to his looks, I attest it’s the authenticity and real moments that were captured by Rhys!

More than a photographer, Rhys became our friend, our hype person, our dance floor enthusiast and one of the coolest people you’ll meet. Hire him. Honestly just hire him. You will not regret it.

RHYS my goodness where to start! If there is anyone you want shooting your magical day, it’s Rhys. From his cool and calm nature to bringing the absolute vibes in every way, he captured every moment so perfectly and we couldn’t have asked for more! Our jaws dropped as soon as we saw our preview photos and that is only the start of what’s to come.

I’ve never met a pair so committed to providing a unique and heartfelt experience, who know what you need before you need it, who think of things that never crossed your radar, who guide you through the planning stages and actual day with warmth, sincerity and pure, unadulterated happiness. Their joy is infectious, they truly care about their couples and they take so much pride in delivering a ceremony and photographs that truly capture the couple.

Rhys - the master clicker - is a ninja and a scholar. I told Rhys I wanted to get back to the party ASAP so didn’t want to spend more than 35 minutes taking photos. He got family, bridal party and couple shots done with time to spare (stopping only for a cheese board) and then stole us away to capture some twilight sunset pictures that are now my favourite. Other than that, we never caught sight of him. I LOVE candid pictures and that’s his craft! They’re the only way to capture you and your guests in an unguarded joyful state and I have revisited his pictures every day since the wedding.

How lucky we are to know people this good at what they do and to now call them friends!

Rhys photographed our wedding recently and BLEW US AWAY! The photos are incredible. Fly-on-the-wall style that captured the love and emotion of the day, super natural and candid. Most importantly, Rhys is a legend and made the portraits so effortless and fun.

You spend 10 hours with someone so it’s important they have great vibes! I have lots of memories of him sprinting across the property of Redleaf to get the perfect shot!

He communicated really consistently with us in the lead up to the day, so I always felt he had it covered. Our sneak peek was delivered the next day with so many photos for us to look back on.
