You spun our love story into the most heartfelt, hilarious, and unforgettable ceremony – it was everything we hoped for and so much more. Then you slipped seamlessly into MC mode, holding the crowd like a seasoned pro (with a healthy dose of cheek and charm). Even when our goofy moments kicked in, you steered the ship like the legend you are.

Honestly, you’ve redefined what a celebrant can be. No more snooze-worthy scripts or awkward pauses – just pure energy, love, and laughter. Thanks to you, the ceremony was hands-down our favourite part of the day.

From the moment I came across Hungry Hearts Co, I just KNEW I had to have Rhys capture our day. Rhys’ photography portfolio was beyond stunning, with the perfect blend of attention to detail and beautiful candid shots. I had been a long-time follower and couldn’t wait to reach out as soon as Aaron and I were engaged!

Rhys and Loz were simply incredible from our first conversation all the way through to our wedding day, even popping into my DM’s now to hype me up when I share even the smallest detail of our wedding. Rhys was so wonderful in the lead-up to the day, no question was too much and the level of communication was just PERFECT for putting a type-A bride at ease.

Fast forward to our wedding day, we were lucky enough to have the fantastic, gorgeous Loz join us as a second shooter… and WHAT A VIBE this pair are! I’m talking laid-back, incredibly positive sunshine with a sprinkle of great humour and endless compliments. Aaron and I absolutely adored having this dynamic duo as part of our day, they made us feel like superstars while also quietly capturing all the special moments of our day (without it feeling like a big photo shoot - Aaron’s worst nightmare).

We recently received our full album back and we just can’t believe how incredible it looks from the eyes of Rhys and Loz. Every image is nothing short of breathtaking! This album is something we will treasure with our families for decades to come and we will forever be grateful for Hungry Hearts Co and the memories they have been able to freeze in time for us. Choosing our favourite photos for a printed album is going to be an impossible task, and I think that says all I need to say for how obsessed we are with each and every shot!

We sat down and watched our wedding gallery slideshow for what will be the first time of many last night. 

I wanted to send a quick email to say how incredibly grateful we both are. The pictures are truly incredible. Beyond our wildest dreams. 

There are so many special moments, expressions, smiles and looks captured that made us feel like we were right back there. We loved looking at everybody’s reactions during the ceremony and reception. 

The ceremony photos made me cry, they are stunning and it was so emotional looking back on them.

As I said, it was the first of many look backs but I just needed to let you guys know how incredible you are and how lucky we are to have found you. 

From the moment I first reached out to Loz, I knew she was the perfect celebrant for us. She felt like an extension of our bridal party—not just our celebrant, but our biggest fan, support system, and constant source of hype. She checked in on us regularly, both before and after the big day, always making us feel so supported and cared for.

Loz is worth her weight in gold with her wealth of knowledge and experience. She went above and beyond for us, just as much as she does for all of her couples (so I’ve heard!). Along with her guides, How to Ceremony, and How to Vow, she helped draft our vows and craft the most memorable and personalised ceremony.

She had our guests both in tears and fits of laughter, seamlessly sharing our story with such candidness and humour. To this day, our friends and family still remind us how amazing the ceremony was. Loz truly set the tone for the entire day, and if we could relive it all over again, we’d do it in a heartbeat—with her by our side.
She jokingly warned us she’d stick to us like glue, but now we’re the ones attached—we simply can’t let her go! Loz’s genuine care for her couples is unmatched, and I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough.

It is hard to put into words how grateful I am to Rhys and Loz. 

They are such legends and made us feel so wonderful on our day. But more than that, the photos they captured are invaluable.

Lauren and Rhys put us at ease from the very beginning!!! They have an insane amount of wedding industry knowledge which was extremely helpful when planning our elopement in Capri, Italy at the beautiful Hotel Caesar Augustus.

I’ve never met a pair so committed to providing a unique and heartfelt experience, who know what you need before you need it, who think of things that never crossed your radar, who guide you through the planning stages and actual day with warmth, sincerity and pure, unadulterated happiness.

Their joy is infectious, they truly care about their couples and they take so much pride in delivering a ceremony and photographs that truly capture the couple.

Our ceremony, with Lauren at the helm, was one of the highlights of our day. She weaves romance, friendship, humour, (the legals) and of course, your love story so beautifully, and so many of our guests complimented us on the best ceremony they’d ever witnessed (including a few married mates).

Rhys - the master clicker - is a ninja and a scholar. I told Rhys I wanted to get back to the party ASAP so didn’t want to spend more than 35 minutes taking photos. He got family, bridal party and couple shots done with time to spare (stopping only for a cheese board) and then stole us away to capture some twilight sunset pictures that are now my favourite. Other than that, we never caught sight of him.

I LOVE candid pictures and that’s his jam! They’re the only way to capture you and your guests in an unguarded joyful state and I have revisited his pictures every day since the wedding.

How lucky we are to know people this good at what they do and to now call them friends!

Lauren is simply something else, on another level of existence, in a league of her own.

It’s not often you find someone who genuinely cares about your story, and tells it in a way that makes everyone laugh, cry, and truly feel it. She struck the perfect balance of humour and sincerity. She’s got a way with words and a way with people, and our day simply wouldn’t have been the same without her.

We had SO many guests tell us ours was the best wedding ceremony they’d ever experienced, and honestly we owe 99% of that to Loz.

We would 11/10 recommend her again and again and again!!

From his cool and calm nature to bringing the absolute vibes in every way, he captured every moment so perfectly and we couldn’t have asked for more! Our jaws dropped as soon as we saw our preview photos and that is only the start of what’s to come.

Loz and Rhys from Hungry Hearts Co are seriously the best in the business!! From the very first message, they oozed so much enthusiasm, kindness and knowledge.

My husband and I eloped in Italy and Loz was literally like my step in bridesmaid. She was there to help me every step of the way and went above and beyond to ensure that our day was an encapsulation of us as a couple. Loz really took the time to get to know us and has such a way at making everyone feel like a million dollars!

Rhys captured our day and every emotion that came with it so perfectly, what a talented human! Not only does he know how to work a camera, but his easy going nature and positive energy made us feel so comfortable.

Being an elopement, we didn’t have any loved ones there which was a bit nerve inducing, however having these two with us made us feel so at ease and felt like getting married in front of a couple of lifelong friends (even though we had just met).

From the moment I saw both Loz and Rhys' work I knew we had to have them for our wedding. I planned my whole wedding around their availability.

Firstly- Loz! She is AMAZING. From our first correspondence via email, I felt so special and loved! You can tell she genuinely loves her job and her couples.

We booked her as our Celebrant and MC. I wanted our day to run as smoothly as possible so booking for her for the MC as well was a no brainer! Her ceremony was so beautifully written and had everyone cracking up one minute and crying the next! She took her time to get to know us both and know what sort of day we would love. There were SO many comments from guests about how amazing she was both at the ceremony and as MC.

Secondly- Rhys! What an amazing photographer. You only have to look at the photos he has produced to know how great he is. And in person he is just as great. He made us all feel so calm and at ease. We wanted a few posed family photos but that took all of 15 minutes and the rest of the day was just him snapping us naturally having the best time. We have only received our sneak peek so far but LOVE every single photo.

Both Rhys and Loz are excellent with communication and made the whole day such a dream. I feel like we have made two new friends in the process of getting married. If I could rate them more than 5 stars I would!!

LOZZY & RHYS!!!! WHAT A TEAM

We booked the Hungry Hearts team for our elopement in Europe in August, 2023.

MY GOODNESS we could not have booked a better team. They came with a glowing recommendation, then with an Instagram stalk we knew these were OUR PEOPLE.

Loz has done so much more for me than just regular celebrant business, she was there as my hype woman/advice giver/co-ordinator/behind the scenes snapper, but best of all story teller. I have never heard a more beautiful wedding ceremony before! She had me laughing and crying all at once. It felt as though she was the third wheel in our relationship, a fly on the wall in our home - how she described us so picture perfectly in our truest forms still has me mind blown! What an amazing human not only the best in the business at her job, she has the heart of gold to go with it! I could not of imagined my day being as great as it was without her. I have my most cherished memory of all time and I could not of picked a better human to bring it together. I could cry of gratitude when I think of how much Loz brought to our day.

Rhys was our videographer for our Positano elopement and he was SO INSANELY amazing.

Being in front of a camera (other than an iphone) is not something we have ever done before, so I was nervous of how my husband Shannon would go, as he’s a one and done kind of picture guy. It turns out he LOVED the camera and the camera loved him! Our team made the experience so much fun and so natural. The moments Rhys captured are so fun/so us/so perfect! We would give anything to relive our wedding day - but having that memory feels pretty bloody amazing (we've probably watched the video 1074729 times each day since we got it). The Super8 film feels so nostalgic and I can't believe I have that to cherish forever.

Rhys worked SO SEAMLESSLY AND BEAUTIFULLY with our photographer Khara from House of Lucie - they brought such good vibes and EVEN MORE SPECTACULAR WORK.

We had the honour of enjoying these phenomenal humans twice, as my best friend brought them on board for her wedding, where I was MOH. Being in front of the camera with Rhys again felt so natural and fun. It honestly felt as though we were all just hanging out!!! His work captures real moments, and he makes it look and feel all too easy. He captures perfect moments so effortlessly - how he does it, I don't know!!

This is the team YOU NEED for your wedding day, they are incredible humans in every way possible & we know 10000 times over our elopement would not of been as amazing as it was without them. They go above and beyond and we are completely and utterly obsessed with them.

Rhys photographed our wedding recently and BLEW US AWAY! The photos are incredible. Fly-on-the-wall style that captured the love and emotion of the day, super natural and candid.

Most importantly, Rhys is a legend and made the portraits so effortless and fun. You spend 10 hours with someone so it’s important they have great vibes! I have lots of memories of him sprinting across the property to get the perfect shot!

He communicated really consistently with us in the lead up to the day, so I always felt he had it covered. Our sneak peek was delivered the next day with so many pics for us to look back on.

Without a shadow of a doubt in our minds, the most treasured part of the day was our ceremony. Loz knows exactly how to turn a brief into a magical fantasy land, and take all of your dearest friends and family along for the ride. Paired with cocktails and cheese, it was emotional rollercoaster of belly laughs and tears. The best day of our lives.

We made sure to book Loz and Rhys in before we booked our venue, that’s how important they were to our special day. Loz tells your story like no one has heard it before. It’s a complete tear jerker that’s filled with tummy aching belly laughs at the same time. She made the ceremony about our relationship and love, instead of the legalities and that’s what we liked. Our guests said that this was one of their favourite parts of the day.

And then Rhys, his photography skills alone are out of this world, not to mention his cool and casual approach, he makes the task of getting photos taken fun and enjoyable. We loved that our photos are so uniquely us, they are not staged or choreographed, they are us being natural and having fun, and boy did they turn out amazing. We cannot recommend this team enough! 100/10!

Words cannot do justice to how incredibly lucky we felt to have Rhys shoot our wedding. Not only is he beyond talented and our photos are just SWOON WORTHY, he made the day so seamless. We often forgot he was there clicking away and capturing our magic.

I had a vision for a photo I wanted captured however due to the schedule of events we ended up with 30 seconds to get it, even with these time limitations, he captured one of my favourite photos of the entire day. How can someone be so sleek? I’ll never know!
